Preconference

If you plan to participate in any preconference seminars you will need to arrive no later than Sunday evening 11/06/22.

Conference

Plan on arriving Monday evening 11/07/22. If your plane lands at ATL by 9:30am on Tuesday, 11/08/22 you should be able to make the opening.

Departing

The conference ends on Thursday 11/10/22 at 1pm. Plan on at least 2 hours in rush hour to get to the airport.

Getting from Airport to the Conference Hotel

Rental Cars

You can rent a car at the Atlanta Airport and there is a free monorail that will take you to the car rental center. The drive, non-rush hour (nights mostly), is about an hour. Rush hour(s) – good luck! Atlanta beat LA in worst rush hour last year. Estimate two hours in rush hour(s). Use the Waze traffic app. Parking at the hotel and conference locations is free.

MARTA and Conference Shuttle

MARTA is a terrible transit system. But – if you get on the North Springs train at the Airport and ride it to the North Springs Station ($2.50 fare) – we will have a shuttle pick up Sunday and Monday evening at 9pm to bring you to the hotel. That shuttle will be free of charge. You can get Uber/Lyft or a taxi from the North Springs Station to the hotel for about $50 +/-.

Uber/Lyft/Taxi

You can get from the Airport to the Hotel by Uber/Lyft/Taxi for $75-$125 depending on time of day.

Conference Shuttle

We will have a shuttle for attendees to use. We will send out a sign up in mid-October for attendees to reserve a seat. 

Sunday – 9:00pm pick up at the North Springs Marta Station to hotel.

Monday – 9:00pm pick up at the North Springs Marta Station to hotel.

Conference Shuttle – hotel to conference center and back will run during conference hours.

Thursday – 1:00 PM departure from hotel to Airport. Anticipate arrival at airport about 2:30 PM.

Friday – if needed we will have a 6:00 AM shuttle to the airport. 

Driving

The address for the opening events Tuesday afternoon at Alliance Academy is: 1100 Lanier 400 Parkway, Cumming, GA 30040.

All events are accessable from Georgia 400 north of Alpharetta.

Getting Around without a Car?

The hotel is a part of The Collections at Forsyth – https://collectionforsyth.com

There is a CVS in walking distance. There are several fast food restaurants (Chick-fil-a) and many casual dining places in addition to shopping. 

This area is in the suburban county of Forsyth and is very safe. 

With the Conference Shuttles, you should easily be able to enjoy the conference without a car.
