Pilot iCEV and See Why You Will Love It
iCEV and the Law and Public Safety Education Network (LAPSEN) have formed a partnership to offer iCEV teacher and student licenses at a 10 percent discount for LAPSEN members. Using the code Lapsen19, Career & Technical Education (CTE) teachers can access iCEV’s Law, Public Safety, Corrections & Security (LPSCS) materials at a discounted rate.
Prior to the partnership, LAPSEN surveyed a number of its members to determine how they used and valued iCEV products. LAPSEN conducts a survey prior to developing a partnership with any organization that provides products or services to instructors. Uniformly, LAPSEN found high praise for iCEV products. Many saw the lesson plans and materials especially valuable to new instructors. LAPSEN believes the savings LAPSEN members can receive should only increase the value of the iCEV content.

Teacher Testimonial
“My first year of teaching was tough because although I was provided some criminal justice resources, I’d never taught before, so coming straight from the industry I had little to no knowledge on how to effectively plan and execute a cohesive lesson. Two years ago, the Sumter County School District purchased a license for iCEV Online and this opportunity helped me to expose my students to real-world and relevant experiences through core aligned curriculum. Students enjoyed the fact that all of their assignments, vocabulary activities and assessments were interactive and could be completed on their laptops. I enjoy not having to grade student’s work. iCEV really gave me my life back. Before that, my weekends consisted of grading papers and planning for the following week, but with iCEV everything was done for me! Students in my class speak highly about iCEV because it gives them the opportunity to focus on real work topics as it pertains to Criminal Justice.”
