State Membership

If you are a Maryland LPS instructor or administrator your LAPSEN membership is covered. Maryland is unique as the state has not funded the membership, but several districts have joined and their combined membership maximizes what LAPSEN will allow a state to pay as a whole. To join follow the steps below.

Note: you must have a Maryland home address and work for a system in Maryland . Email info@lapsen.org if you live out of state.

Check the Directory

LAPSEN hosts the national Directory of Youth Law Enforcement Experience Programs for the Department of Justice COPs program. The database is for ALL PATHWAYs – legal, fire, and others as well as law enforcement. Agencies, educational researchers, and fellow teachers use this to find you. It is very important your program is listed. You can also use it yourself to find other programs.

Search for your program. Add or update your program if needed.
