TEA cannot join LAPSEN due to some state policies. The Texas Public Safety Association (TPSA) has stepped in to make membership available. When you join TPSA (texaspublicsafetyassociation.org) your LASPEN membership is included – giving you full access. You or your district can also join LAPSEN – refer to the membership links at the top of the page.

    Check the Directory

    LAPSEN hosts the national Directory of Youth Law Enforcement Experience Programs for the Department of Justice COPs program.  The database is for ALL PATHWAYs – legal, fire, and others as well as law enforcement. Agencies, educational researchers, and fellow teachers use this to find you. It is very important your program is listed. You can also use it yourself to find other programs.
